At Steth, we maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward any form of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) and activities related to the sexual abuse or exploitation of children. This policy sets out our commitment to protect children, ensure compliance with applicable Indian laws, and maintain a secure platform for verified medical professionals and students.

1. Platform Purpose and Audience

Steth is a professional networking platform exclusively for verified doctors and medical students. The platform is not intended for use by minors. Our verification system ensures that only individuals who are licensed medical professionals or currently enrolled in accredited medical programs (18+) can register and use the platform.

2. Prohibited Content and Activities

Steth strictly prohibits the following actions and content:

• Possession, upload, transmission, sharing, or storage of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).
• Content that sexually exploits or endangers minors, including any depictions of minors in a sexual context, whether real, simulated, or fictional.
• Any attempt to groom, contact, exploit, or harass minors.
• Any content or conduct in violation of:
  • The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (POCSO)
  • The Information Technology Act, 2000, especially Section 67B
  • The Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) Sections 294–296
  • The IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021

Such content or conduct is illegal, and will be dealt with in full cooperation with law enforcement.

3. Detection, Reporting & Moderation Mechanisms

Steth has implemented the following systems to detect and respond to CSAM and related content:

• Manual moderation of all content reported by users.
• Community flagging tools to empower users to report violations in-app.
• Future integration of AI-based detection tools for automated identification and moderation of harmful content, with human oversight.

In accordance with Rule 3(2)(b) of the IT Rules 2021, CSAM will be removed or disabled within 24 hours of being reported or discovered.
